An Ecologist is required in Chesterfield to assist in ecological surveys and report writing over the busy survey season.
Work will mainly be based in the Midlands region, however there may be the need to visit sites out of the region and work away from home for short periods.
GCN Licence is essential
Background and experience of other ecological survey methods such as Breeding Birds, Reptiles and Phase 1 Habitat Surveys is desirable.
Report writing skills and good personal organisation and communication skills required.
Candidate must be flexible and willing to undertake early morning and/ or evening surveys as required.
Ideally the candidate should have some experience in ecological surveys and/ or ecological consulting, however other candidates will be considered.
